General questions

What is PropertyDataLabs?

PropertyDataLabs is the account, website, and service behind the Zillow Data Exporter browser Extension and the Cloud tools. It helps users export property listings from Zillow into structured files. The browser Extension exports CSV and Excel (.xlsx), while Cloud result downloads also support Parquet (.parquet) and JSON (.json).

Are Zillow Data Exporter and PropertyDataLabs separate accounts?

No. Zillow Data Exporter is the browser Extension made by PropertyDataLabs. The Extension and web app use the same PropertyDataLabs account and subscription. Read Zillow Data Exporter and your PropertyDataLabs account for details.

Is PropertyDataLabs affiliated with Zillow?

No. PropertyDataLabs is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Zillow, Inc. Zillow and Zestimate are registered trademarks of Zillow, Inc. Read our trademark and non-affiliation notice.

Is PropertyDataLabs a data broker?

PropertyDataLabs provides software and processing services rather than a standalone property-data marketplace. The Extension processes information available in your browser. Cloud workflows use specialist third-party collection providers, with Bright Data as the primary provider, before PropertyDataLabs structures and exports the returned information. See our privacy policy for the current provider disclosure.

Can Zillow block me for using this extension?

It is possible that Zillow may impose a temporary block if you use the extension excessively (e.g., exporting thousands of listings per hour). If this happens, you should wait a few hours before trying again. PropertyDataLabs is not responsible for any blocks that Zillow may impose on you.

What can I do with the data I export?

The use of the data you export is entirely up to you and depends on your specific use case. PropertyDataLabs is not responsible for any use or misuse of the data. If you have any doubts about your intended use, please consult with a legal professional.

Billing and subscriptions

Can I change my plan at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel an eligible subscription from the Billing page without contacting support.

An upgrade normally takes effect immediately and Paddle charges the prorated difference. A downgrade is scheduled for the renewal date, so you keep the current plan until then. Switching from monthly to yearly billing takes effect immediately; switching from yearly to monthly is scheduled for the annual renewal date. Review the confirmation shown before completing any change.

Is there a free trial?

No. When you create an account, you are automatically subscribed to our Free plan, which allows you to test the core functionality. We recommend you get familiar with the extension on the Free plan and upgrade whenever you are ready to access more advanced features.

What is your refund policy?

All subscription payments (including renewals) are fully refundable within 7 days of the purchase date. You can process an eligible refund from the Refunds section of your billing dashboard by selecting Request refund and completing the confirmation.

Please note that extra credit pack purchases are non-refundable.

Read Refunds and eligibility for the self-service steps, processing timelines, and the limited exception for verified non-use.

How are payments processed?

All payments are securely handled by our third-party payment processor, Paddle. Paddle is a PCI Level 1 certified service provider, ensuring the highest level of security for your payment information. We do not have access to your credit card details.

Cloud Credits

What is a credit?

Cloud credits pay for server-side processing by Cloud Importer, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Aggregator, and Cloud Fetcher. Basic Importer and Aggregator runs use credits by results page; Advanced and listing-based workflows use credits by successfully retrieved primary listing. See Basic vs Advanced exports and Cloud run costs.

Do purchased credits expire or have a monthly fee?

No. Extra credits that you purchase do not expire and do not incur a monthly fee. You can use them whenever you want, but you will need an active subscription to the Pro plan or higher to do so.

Are extra credit purchases refundable?

No. Purchases of extra credit packs are non-refundable. Each cloud export incurs direct costs for us (servers, data, etc.). If you are unsure how many credits you need, we recommend starting with a smaller pack.

Features and data

What is the difference between the browser Extension and Cloud Importer?

The browser Extension runs locally in your browser. You manually navigate to a Zillow page and select an export action to download a file.

The Cloud Importer is a cloud-based tool that runs on our servers. You provide it with a Zillow search URL, and it does all the work for you automatically, saving the results to your account. This allows you to close your browser while it works and is ideal for larger, automated tasks.

What is the difference between a Basic and Advanced Cloud export?

Cloud Importer and Cloud Aggregator offer both depths.

  • Basic export: Uses the fields available on Zillow search-results pages and costs one credit for each results page processed. A page can contain up to 40 primary listings.
  • Advanced export: Also retrieves additional property-page fields and costs one credit for each successfully retrieved primary listing.

Cloud Fetcher and Cloud Monitoring process individual properties rather than results pages. Read Basic vs Advanced exports and Cloud run costs for worked examples and the rental-building unit rule.

Which file formats can I use for Cloud result exports?

Cloud Importer, Cloud Aggregator, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Fetcher results can be downloaded as CSV (.csv), Excel (.xlsx), Parquet (.parquet), or JSON (.json). Google Sheets is a separate delivery destination. A Cloud Importer job can choose manual export, Google Sheets, or Email, but Google Sheets and Email cannot be selected together. Email delivery uses CSV. Whichever method is selected, the retained result remains available for manual download. The Zillow Data Exporter browser Extension supports CSV and Excel, but not Parquet or JSON.

Can I see a breakdown of all exported fields?

Yes. You can see a complete list of all data fields available for each property type here:

What if some data is missing from my export?

If a field is empty in your exported file, it is because that data was not available on the Zillow listing page. We extract all the data that Zillow provides for a given property, but we cannot guarantee that every field will be populated for every listing.
