Use an export template in the Extension

Before you begin

Export templates are available on Pro and higher plans. Create a template in the PropertyDataLabs web app before selecting it in the Extension. The template must use the Extension domain and match the Zillow listing type you plan to export.

Follow Create an export template if you do not already have a compatible template.

Apply a template

1. Select Settings in the extension dock on a Zillow search-results page.
2. Open Export settings.
3. Select the property type you intend to export.
4. Open the Export templates list and choose the compatible template.
5. Review the selected fields and output settings.
6. Save the settings.
7. Close the settings panel and select Page or All in the dock.

Selecting a template replaces the direct column configuration for that property type. Choose Do not use a template when you want to return to manually selected columns.

When a template is missing

Check that:

• the template was created for the browser Extension rather than a Cloud product;
• its property type matches the current Zillow search;
• the account is signed in and still has access to Pro features; and
• the settings panel has been closed and reopened since the template was created or edited.

Editing a template affects future exports. It does not change files that were already generated.
