Configure the fields, file format, images, and templates used for each property type.

Export settings control the data and output used when you export properties from Zillow. Open Settings from the dock, then select Export settings.

Overview

The Overview page has two sections.

Applied configurations

This section summarizes the configuration used for:

properties for sale;
properties for rent;
sold properties; and
saved properties.

Each row shows whether the property type uses custom settings or an export template. Select Review to open its current configuration.

Pro and higher plans can select Change to apply or replace a template. Templates are not available for saved properties.

When a template is applied, the row also summarizes its file format, selected fields, image handling, and ownership.

Custom export defaults

These defaults apply when a compatible template is not selected.

Templates can override these defaults for their property type.

Property-type settings

Select a property type in the secondary navigation to configure it.

The for-sale, for-rent, sold, and saved-property pages let you:

search available and selected fields;
add or remove individual fields;
add or remove a complete category;
select or deselect all supported fields;
sort selected fields alphabetically or by category;
drag selected fields into the required spreadsheet column order; and
save the configuration for future exports.

Free accounts can export up to 10 fields. Basic and higher plans can customize and export up to 40 fields.

Controls are temporarily unavailable while an export is running. When a template is applied, edit the template or switch back to custom settings before changing its fields.

On the rental page, Export all building units adds each available unit as a separate result in addition to the building listing. A compatible template can override this setting.

Saved properties

Saved-property exports use custom field settings only. They do not support export templates or the All image URLs option.
