Introduction
Zillow Data Exporter lets you export Zillow property data to CSV or Excel.
Version 3.0.6 is now available. This update fixes Saved Homes exports that could stop when Zillow supplied incomplete listing data. It also improves how saved-property exports handle missing values, dates, and property links.
More reliable Saved Homes exports
A saved property can be missing photos or other details in the data Zillow provides. Previously, a missing photo collection could interrupt the export, including the valid properties that followed it.
Version 3.0.6 exports saved properties even when their photos are missing, empty, or malformed. Available photos are retained, and the image field stays empty when none are usable. This applies to both CSV and Excel exports.
The extension also skips malformed saved entries and properties without a usable address or property ID, allowing the remaining valid listings to export. When reading the Saved Homes page, it continues looking for listing data if an earlier script contains unrelated JavaScript, invalid data, or an empty favorites collection.
More accurate values in saved-property exports
Saved Homes exports now handle incomplete data more consistently:
- Numbers: Missing or invalid prices, areas, bedroom counts, bathroom counts, Zestimates, and coordinates stay blank. Valid zero values are preserved, and numeric values supplied as strings are accepted.
- Price per area: Price per living-area unit and price per lot-area unit are calculated only when both the price and the relevant area are valid and greater than zero.
- Dates: Missing or invalid saved dates and last-sold dates stay blank.
- Optional details: Missing broker details and ownership flags no longer interrupt an export. Valid
falsevalues are preserved.
These changes help keep unavailable data distinct from an actual zero or a negative answer in your spreadsheet.
Complete property links
Zillow sometimes supplies saved-property links as relative paths, such as /homedetails/.... Version 3.0.6 resolves these to full URLs beginning with https://www.zillow.com/, so exported links can be used directly outside Zillow.
Update the extension
Chrome normally installs extension updates automatically. If your installed version is older than 3.0.6, follow the update guide or open the Chrome Web Store listing.
After updating, refresh your Zillow Saved Homes page before trying the export again.
