# Profile, timezone, and account removal

## Open General settings

Select **Settings → General**. This page contains profile, regional, and account-removal settings.
Each section has its own save button; changing one section does not automatically save another.

## Display name

Your display name appears throughout the product and in places where your account is identified.
Enter between 5 and 50 characters, then select **Save changes**. This does not change the email used
to sign in.

## Profile photo

Select the current photo or initials, choose a square PNG or JPG file up to 2 MB, inspect the preview,
and select **Save photo**. Choosing a file alone does not save it.

## Timezone

The selected timezone controls scheduled Cloud jobs and every date or time displayed in the app.
The page shows the current local time for the selected zone.

1. Choose a timezone from the list, or select **Use detected timezone**.
2. Verify the displayed GMT offset and city group.
3. Select **Update timezone**.

Browser detection is a convenience. If you travel but want schedules to remain tied to your normal
market, select that timezone manually.

## Delete the account

Account deletion is permanent. An active subscription can prevent deletion. In that case, cancel the
subscription first and wait until the paid term ends; the page displays the relevant renewal or end
date. Export any results you need before deleting the account.

**Deletion cannot be undone**

  Deleting the account can remove jobs, results, templates, settings, and linked-service references.
  Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions.
